Lauantaina 15.9. WicCafé pureutuu Varjojen kirjan, Book of Shadowsin historiaan!

Ashley Mortimer Doreen Valiente Foundationista (www.doreenvaliente.org) liittyy seuraamme nykyteknologian kautta ja aloittaa illan kertomalla miten ja mistä Gerald Gardnerin Varjojen kirjat saivat alkunsa, muotonsa ja tekstinsä. Kuulemme varmasti, mikä Ashleyn mielestä on nykynoituuden tärkein teos ja saamme vilkaisun mitä Doreen Valiente Foundation tekee tutkiessaan wiccan historiaa. Ashleyn esitelmä pidetään englanniksi.

*Ashley Mortimer on Doreen Valiente Foundationin edustaja, joka on tutkinut ja perehtynyt erityisesti Doreen Valienteen ja hänen panokseensa modernille pakanuudelle.*

Esitelmän jälkeen vapaata jutustelua, pohdintaa ja hengailua.

Tapahtuma pidetään ravintolan tiloissa, pääsymaksua ei ole, mutta toive olisi, että kaikki ostaisivat juoman tai kaksi illan aikana.

Septembers WicCafé will be on Saturday 15.9. with the theme of Book of Shadows!

Ashley Mortimer is a trustee of Doreen Valiente Foundation (www.doreenvaliente.org) and has agreed to join us through Skype. He will give us a talk about history of Gerald Gardners Book of Shadows - what, when and maybe even why. We probably will also hear his opinion about the most important book for the modern day witchcraft and get glimpse what Doreen Valiente Foundation is doing, while preserving the history of the modern witchcraft. Ashleys talk will be held in English.

*Ashley Mortimer, a trustee of the Doreen Valiente Foundation, is a speaker on the history of Paganism and modern Witchcraft with a particular knowledge of Doreen Valiente and her contribution to modern Paganism.*

After the talk, we will continue the evening with free chats and thoughts.

During Ashleys talk there is limited spaces, so please click "Going" in facebook event if you are coming (and cancel if you can't), send us private message or email wiccafe.hki@gmail.com.

The event will be held in restaurant, there is no entrance fee, but hopefully everyone can buy drink or two.

Elokuun WicCafé 18.8.2018

Lauantaina 18.8. Elokuun WicCaféssa kokoonnutaan Haltialan kotieläintilalle fiilistelemään elokuuta ja sadonkorjuun alkua. Tavataan Haltialan tilalla (Laamannintie 17, Helsinki), ravintola Wanhan Pehtoorin ulkopuolella kello 13.00. Kierrellään ja katsellaan, mukaan voi ottaa istuinalustan, jos löydetään joku paikka istuskella ja jutustella enemmän.

We will meet at sat 18.8. at 1 PM outside restaurant Wanha Pehtoori (Laamannintie 17, Helsinki).
